This time we have cricket records of Most Runs scored in Test career. Surviving for a long test career requires patience, perseverance, hard work and every single quality that is essential to be a good cricketer. Sachin Tendulkar heads the list of highest runs in test career.
Sachin Tendulkar has scored more than 14,000 runs in Test cricket. He is followed by Ricky Ponting who has 12,000 plus runs. They are followed by Brian Lara (11,953) and Rahul Dravid who has scored 11,500 plus runs.

I have not mentioned the exact runs of Sachin, Ponting and Dravid as they are still playing International test cricket and their stats will change with every match they play.

Test cricket is a real test of your character. Playing for 5 long days with match swining either ends isn't as easy as an ODI or T20 match. Test cricket is all about survival, defence, aggression, strategies, session plays and much more.

Let us have a look at Australian cricketers who have played most number of Test matches till date.

On the top of the chart is Steve Waugh with 168 test matches, followed by Allan Border (156), Ricky Ponting (148), Shane Warne (145), Mark Waugh (128), Glenn Mcgrath (124), Ian Healy (119), David Boon (107), Justin Langer (105), Mark Tayor (104), Matthew Hayden (103), Adam Gilchrist (96) and so on.

Kindly note that the above records are till 10th October 2010 with India Vs Australia Test Series 2010. So Ricky Ponting will climb up that chart with more test matches to follow.
